Bought this entirely on hype alone from Amazon, as it's hard to define the genre and thus tell if you would instantly like it before seeing what it is. I was not disappointed. Going to break it down into a few sections here for detail.3D effects: Absolutely excellent use of 3D, stunning effects. I notice the nintendo made games know how to make and use the 3D effects very well whereas the third party 3D is lazy or pointless to turn on. The stand that comes with this makes it very easy to hold it perfectly still for the 3D too so I find I have it on a lot without getting tired. I'm guessing a lot of the eye-tiredness from 3D reports when the 3DS came out was because it's impossible to hold it perfectly still so your eyes always had to adjust slightly and were working hard all the time. I have waited so long for this game and it was more than worth it! The Single player sees you soaring over a beautiful sky, trekking a long vast and varied landscapes like castles, labyrinthine s and blasting enemy's with weapons. You can collect weapons, buy weapons and even fuse weapons together! The on-line mode is really cool aswell. You can either do Light VS Dark, which is a team Brawl and Free For All which is a mode where it is every man for himself!. Also there is a AR mode, where you can engage in ar battles etc. There are 6 in th box and more can be got from club nintendo.In short: YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!

After reading a lot about this game, I still had my doubts. It seemed to me a crazy game, with a questionable control scheme and a strange sense of humor. Graphics didn't look well in pictures or videos either. But I took the risk and bought it.Well, first of all, this is one of the most spectacular games I ever played. And I'm not talking about polygons and textures, it's just the way it is designed. There are lots of things going on while you play, specially in the flying sections, and action is constantly changing, so one minute you are running away from a big monster, the next you are defeating hordes of enemies and the next you are inside a labyrinth. There is a lot of content, so no worries about how long it is. The story is surprisingly good too, at least for a game like this. There are not video sequences like many other games, just the dialogs while you are playing (that can certainly be a little annoying sometimes), and it works really well. Don't... Read more |
